Antigone on Facebook
This will be a five-day, interactive event, and we're looking forward to having a great time and some interesting discussions!
Monday, May 21: Meet the characters!
Tuesday, May 22-24: Follow the play, and comment on the action!
Friday, May 25: Post play discussion! Talk about the play, the characters, anything you're interested in!
How to Start:
First, you'll need to log in to your Facebook page and "Like" the following pages
ISU Media Center
Now, to make it easier to follow the play, you'll need to create a list.
1. Once you've "liked" everyone, return to your News Feed page and click on "Friends" in the left hand column. This will give you a list of all your friends groups. Click on "Create List." Type a name for the list (Antigone, for example), but don't add members as we did in the photo. There's a better way. Click "Create."
2. Now, in the left hand column, the list you just created appear under "Friends." Click on it . In the middle of the page, click on "Add Friends."
3. With your Antigone box open, in the upper left-hand corner, click "On this list" and select "Pages." A list of all the Pages you have "Liked" pops up. Click on Antigone, Haemon, Ismene, Creon and Teiresias. Click "Finish."
4. You're done! Now, when you want to follow the action in the play, click on your Antigone list, and the only feeds that will show up on your wall, will be those from the play. So you won't have to dig through your friends' posts, your LOL Cats feeds, etc.
Check in throughout the day to catch up on the drama! As the action heats up, feel free to comment! We're hoping for an interesting discussion on students' rights and civil disobedience!
But be warned---this is a Greek Tragedy, after all! Don't expect an "and they lived happily ever after" sort of ending!
Finally, remember the posts appear in reverse order--so read from bottom to top to follow the action in chronological order!
See you on Facebook!
